Fantasy Football Projections 2011

Well it's official the NFL 2011 lockout is over and that means gear up and time to start paying attention to Fantasy Football Projections again!

This is my first post on this blog and I would like to introduce myself, my name is Andrew and I have decided to create a blog about Fantasy Football not only because it is a great game to play and gives me a reason to analyze player stats, but it is also one of the fastest growing online game.

There are over 5 million searches a month for Fantasy Football and millions of fans that play.

I will be playing Fantasy Football for my fifth year now, and signed up for my regular 3 leagues. I have Won the champion ship game twice in a league with 14 players, and once in a league with 10. There has never been a year in any of my leagues that I haven't gone to the playoffs for every team either.

The reason WHY? I keep up with stats and Fantasy Football Projections throughout the whole season!

One thing that has helped me consistently win and will definitely help your team out too, is to come to the realization that No One has a perfect draft. Every year I see people that hold on to their favorite players that are not putting up stats because they're waiting for their "breakout" game. One prime example is Reggie Bush. He also gets drafted way to early usually by round 3 or 4 and doesn't put up big numbers. Get rid of him and pick up a 2nd string RB that will actually carry the ball.

Always keep up to date with the latest in football news, even just reading the headlines will give you that extra jump into picking up a star player. You may not always be the first one to pick up the highest quality free agents throughout the season but make sure to do at least 5-10 add/drops throughout the season.

Another tip is to pay attention to free agents late in the season as well. You may feel like you won't have to ever switch your star Wide Receiver that has been doing amazing all year during the end of the season but there are circumstances that call for it. For instance in the championship game last year I noticed that Hines Ward wasn't producing his normal solid points and QB/WR Joe Webb was putting up decent numbers. I picked up Joe Webb put Hines on the bench and guess what happened. Hines got more points than he usually puts up at 12 but Joe Webb got 16. The overall score of the game was 100.76 to my 101.74 (not even joking!).

I will be posting updates with possible sleepers, power house players, who to start, who not to draft, and more. Leave some comments, complaints, suggestions, whatever just be happy that the NFL 2011- 2012 season is here!
